Drawing. I love its directness. Its immediacy. It provides the opportunity to realise on paper that which excites me... it is a constant challenge.. a struggle.
One of my earliest memories is of the pure joy derived from a cheap drawing book. Carefree and uninhibited I would scribble, scrawl, make lines, fill in, shade and smudge.. I was aware of a great sense of pleasure and release in this free expression.
